As mentioned in the video here and this discussion post, I am going to share with you all my first edits of Screechers. Obviously, by “first” I mean my first recent edits, given that this book has been rewritten and changed more times than I can count. And within a single week, I rewrote the first 100 pages twice!

But below, I’ve got links to the chapters with my handwritten notes in the margins. I realize you might not be able to read my handwriting, but that’s okay! The most important part of each chapter is at the end, where I write in green what my overall NOTES are. These are my general thoughts and ideas for how I want to make changes.

Of course, as you know from the video, I got through these chapters…and then had an epiphany regarding tense. So then I went through all the chapters again to change the tense.

I will share those changes as well soon, but I want to start here, with my first read through and notations.
