I’m so sorry to hear about Asimov, Susan. I don’t know that any words can make such a loss less heavy, specially on the heels of losing Leia, but I hope you have some space and time to process and recover. Many many many hugs 💜
All of the good vibes and hugs for you and the family right now. Asimov and Leia had great lives with you and I don't think a doggo could ask for more than that.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I read somewhere once that dogs are in our lives for much shorter times because they come into the world already knowing things we have to learn, like how to love unconditionally. They are truly amazing and special beings. Sending you all the love ❤️
So sorry to hear of you losing your two companions, Leia and Asimov. I had lost my two dogs ten and fifteen years ago, and I still remember all the memories and adventure fun had with them. I was having a sort of vagabond life at the time, and we lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Many times we were living out of my car between regular residences. As you know, there is nothing like the love and devotion a dog can give you. Best luck to you, and things will get better, although you will never forget those two best friends.
"I wish publishers would pay their employees better" I have a question, Susan. Are there employees at publishers who just do sales? I'm not talking academic bookstore sales. These positions have always existed. I'm talking about someone who works the phone selling to public libraries and the bigger bookstores.
